Change The World

I want to change the world. I want to see it change. I want to change the world and see it rearrange. I want a world that’s different, a world that is complete. A world where poverty and riches finally meet. I want the world to change, to grow, abound in love. I want the world to know they’re loved by God above. I want the world to change, to see the things I see. I want to change things too and to always learn something new. I want the world to change and to be a better place. I want to world to embrace this new-found state of grace. I want the world to change and evaporate this hate. I want the world to embrace unconditional love, before it is too late. I want the world to change, its beginnings never will, but the world can surely change, the outcomes vacant still. I want the world to change, so I’ll pray mighty hard. I want it to change so we can redistribute the cards. I want the world to change but it seems it’s out of reach, but perhaps it is still possible if God’s saving grace we teach. I want the world to change, I want a better now. I want the world to change so we can learn to love out loud. A world where people are loved and never criticised or judged. A  world where peace and joy reside and arms are outstretched far and wide. A world where people sing. A world where people smile. A world where people say hello and never say goodbye. I see the change is coming, though it’s a mighty big dream of mine. So I’ll be the change, I’m running, my Lord has set me free to love in life.

You May Say I’m A Dreamer

Well I never have been a dreamer. I suppose I’ve always felt fairly content. But I am seeing that if we always settle for sufficiency life will always have a lingering, mediocre tang.

If we never step out of our comfort zone, we’ll never do anything new. We’ll never see new things. We’ll never meet new people. We’ll never grow.

Most of all, we’ll always be doing everything in our own strength. It is at the end of our comfort zone that we open ourselves up to faith in God.

Our dreams need to be big. They need to be humanly impossible. I want my dream to be impossible for me, and only made possible with God.

So I’m dreaming. So God can step in.

“All things are possible through Christ who strengthens me” -Philippians 4:13
