For someone who was persecuted, I think this woman knew what she was talking about. Witnessing to people in concentration camps in World War II, she saw the power of the Word of God firsthand.
You and I hold that same power in our hands, in our hearts and in our minds.
When we are attacked, we don’t need to defend ourselves. We need to see the primary function is the proclamation of the Gospel, of God’s unconditional love, of freely available salvation.
The Word of God doesn’t need defending. It defends itself.
